Is it nromal for a woman in her late 40s in good sexual relationship with her partner to use a vibrator by herself sometimes? Does it mean that she is any less attracted to her partner sexually? Is there anything a man can do to provide her with whatever she may be missing sexually?

    Hello L

You're a guy, no?? Can a woman ever do anything that will stop YOU from whacking off?? The answer is NO. Masturbation by ANYONE, an ANY age is perfectly NORMAL. It means NOTHING, except that she wants to get off. What does whacking off MEAN to you??

Why should there be a question about a woman doing it? Men masturbate all the time and its perfectly normal. Who cares. If it feels good then do it.

It only means that vibrators are more common today than used to be.

However, if you are in a relationship and have questions about why she uses a vibrator, ask her.

Talking about pleasure shouldn't be taboo in a relationship.

It is absolutely normal for a woman to use a vibrator or to masturbate in the context of a happy relationship.

Masturbation is a different experience to sex. We often do it for different reasons - because it's easy, we want a release, we want a 'fix', we want to have some private time to ourselves. Sometimes we just want to do it for ourselves. Same as guys I guess.

Many men would masturbate or look at porn and have happy fulfilling sexual relationships with their partners as well. Women are essentially no different.
