Bumps on hands, between fingers and on buttocks
3yo noticed a few bumps on back of hand. Later progressed to a significant number,eventually spreading to wrist covering most of the hand. The other hand had pimple-like bumps between the fingers, which have progressed to larger in size and spreading. Patches of same bumps noted on buttocks, now spread to a small patch. Bumps are beginning to appear in small clusters over lower back and upper right shoulder. Child has not been eating much; usually has a hearty appetitie. No evidence of oral sores nor are there any sores on or around feet. Initial visit to pediatrician was futile, without a probable cause or diagnosis. Prescribed a hydrocortisone cream which did not/has not helped. Any clue? There is no redness on the skin, just what appears to be smoothed over bumps that are beginning to spread. Have been remodeling a bathroom where cutting of particle board may have exposed area to certain dust. Does this sound like some type of allergic response or something else? No fever and no itching.
