    It depends. Most of 'em are for violation procedures, though. Is that what you meant?

    Normally, a probation hearing is where the probation officer has brought possible violations to the attention of the court and is requesting that probation be revoked. The standard of proof is less that that for a conviction and the rules of evidence are normally relaxed.
