    50 amp wire
I want to run a 50 amp circuit to my dock from the house panel. What gauge wire is in the Marinco 50 amp chordset and the run from the house panel to the 50 amp marinco receptical is approximately 100 feet. Thanks JLackey

I don't know what gauge wire is in that cord but they claim its good for 50 amps. However I don't see that they offer a 100' length so line drop may be a problem and its never a good idea to plug and entenson cord into an extension cord. This also should be GFCI at the breaker or the receptacle. Not knowing what you are doing I might suggest running a regular outdoor/under ground rated cable out to near the shore to a receptacle. The use your Marinco from there to the dock or boat.
