    Kenmore furnace moisture
I have a kenmore furnace that will not light because of moisture from the a/c beingg used during the summer. Every year, the first time I need the heat, I have to call a service guy and $100 later, it will work although it seems to take awhile to ignite for the whole season until I use the a/c again

What are the service techs doing to fix the problem? There may be a permanent fix to this issue if we knew more.

The entries say clean pilot tube I can probably clean it myself if I knew where it was. I see a tube coming off the regulator and it ends where the sparking is going on

o.k. thanks for the help! I found the tube that the service guy took off and cleaned each year and I can say for certain that it is clean and dry. I slipped it back on and it's the same result, the blower comes on, I can see and hear the sparking from the ignition, and evan smell a little gas, but no flame and the ignighter gives up after about 1 minute and fan keeps runnig

Please post make and model of unit.

In the meantime start checking some basics such as blocked intake or exhaust, water in any hoses or diaphragms, dirty sensors, etc.

Check your high temp limit switch and pressure switch, and let us know what you find.
