I'm currently taking the pill and will be due to have my period next week. I've been on the pill for quite a while but I've been having some pregnancy-like symptoms. Instead of going out and buying a test right away, I was just wondering if it is possible to still get your period if you're pregnant and have been taking the pill? Please answer!! Thank you.

Not usually, of course even the pill isn't 100% baby proof. If you were getting you period right after you got pregnant I would think it would not be very heavy. Did you miss a day or 2?

What symptoms? Pms and pregnancy symptoms are commonly confused.

Kind of nauseated, tired, emotional... but not like my normal pms symptoms. I miss a day sometimes and always take the pill right away the next day or as soon as I remember but I've done that since I've started the pill which has been quite some time. I guess I just patiently wait and see how the next week goes with the period.

Yeah, not much more than that you can do. Sometimes if I miss a pill, even if I take it right away the next day it will affect my cycle and pms. Not always but sometimes.
