How can I find jobs in detroit Michigan that hire felons my first one and I am very confused I'm a 47 year old female

In terms of how you find work, I have two pieces of advice. First off, I KNOW felons work, and I KNOW it's harder for felons to get jobs. So, if it takes an ordinary citizen 5 interviews before he gets a job, you might have to go on 10.

The next thing is, try to get jobs at mom and pop type of places where you can interview with the guy who does the hiring on your first visit. Because, if you get hired, it'll be because of YOU. If you just leave a resume and they see the word felon, they'll NEVER call you.
