    Sexual problems
    Hi
My name is Michelle and Iam new to this whole ask a question thing. The only reason why Iam doing this is because I have a question that can't just be asked to anybody. My husband and I have noticed something different in his pennis and we don't know what it is. He has these little things that look like pimples. I ask him if they hurt and he says no and when he squeezes them, white stuff comes out just like a pimple. They don't look like blisters or warts but they don't go away. We don't know what they are. Are they herpes or anything like that?

Did you try taking him to the doctor?

Sounds like something simple called sebaceous cysts. It is oil that is captured under the skin much like whiteheads on your face.

A urologist can tell you to be sure though.

Has he ever been diagnosed with a STD?

I agree with J_9 and believe that they are sebaceous cysts, I am quite a bit older then your husband and I have had one for years. Be careful in squeezing out the white stuff. You can make an open sore from your fingernails and of course any opening into the skin is a place for possible infection. If you are into anal sex I would wait for several days after squeezing the pimple before you do anal.

Yeah a while back he was diagnosed with chlamydia, but he took care of that. Since then he has not seen a doctor.

This is all guess work... he needs to see a doctor. And probably u too. I don't know much about STD's, but I do know that some can lead to sterility in both men and women, so instead of wasting time on 'us'... see a professional asap, or even sooner.

Yes, it could be an STD. You should get tested just to be sure.

Sebaceous cysts are usually white or cream in color when they occur in this area, and are smooth little domes that stick up above the skin. They can vary in size from quite tiny to the size of a large pea, or even bigger. They contain a cheesy-like substance, which is made of breakdown products of skin tissues including keratin and sebum (the stuff that makes your skin greasy). They are quite harmless and cannot be transmitted to anyone else. They rarely give any problems in this situation apart from embarrassment, although the larger ones can sometimes get infected. You should still see a doctor to make sure it IS sebaceous cysts, and if it's not, well, you can go on from there.
