    Dye Job Gone Wrong.. .
Okay, so I had my sister dye my hair for me and well, she missed like 5 spots.. . So I tried going over it again and it still looks crappy. It's dark brown/blackish with a red tint. I like the red tint I just don't know what to do. . I am thinking about just stripping it at home and dying over it again but I don't know if the color will lift all the same color? I don't have a lot of $ to spend on my hair, but I want it to look nice. . Any suggestions?

I'd suggest a color remover like ColorFix or Color Oops. You could also use Color Zap, but that's actually a bleach and will damage more than ColorFix or Color Oops.

These products will not leave your hair at your original color. The natural undertones have already been lifted out. Therefore, it will leave it at some sort of brassy color -- probably auburn, and it will have to be re-dyed after using color remover.

Once you've removed the color (you don't have to go to extremes to remove it all), select a new shade more to your liking. Recognize that hair coloring isn't like painting a room. The undertones (natural pigment still in the hair) will add to the new color to give you the final shade. Make sure your hair is saturated with the new color so you don't have any missed spots.
