Hi the air conditioning in my Tacuma only blows out cold air I know the blower works at full blast so it can't be that and I have also topped up the coolant levels so as to rule that one out but it still won't blow out hot air has anyone any ideas why this could be please?

Um, have you got a heat selection on the dashboard ?

You are not making sense, kapaone. If you have it selected at air conditioning, then that is what you are going to get, but if you have it on heat, then warm air you will get.

Sorry If I sound Confusing,

My problem is with the Hot and Cold air inside my Tacuma

It blows out air on low settings and on full blast so it clears the windows just now

But my main problem is if I set the temperature control to blow out cold air I get cold and if I set it to blow out Hot air I still only get Cold air.
I was told before that if my coolant level was to low that would cause it not to allow hot air through but that has been topped up to the correct level

Has anyone any ideas what would stop me getting hot air inside my car

I don't know the proper name for the part you need but could be called a thermostat that regulates the hot hair coming into the cab. When this 'thermostat' doesn't work, no hot hair.

There may be a problem with the blend door actuator or the Electronic Air Temperature Control unit (Toyota may call it something else). There may be on-board diagnostic tests that can be run on your temperature control unit. Here's how it's done on many Fords:

The blend door seems to be the culprit here. Go to the passenger side, or right hand side of the vehicle, look down at the floor level towards the middle of the dash.
Look to see if a cable has become detached from a lever down there.
Move the heat control with your left hand and see if the cable moves without doing anything. That will be the problem.
