    Genital Rash
Hello everyone this is my first time asking a question..

Ok, so I have a very persistent genital rash. Its around my inner thighs and the area above my pubic hair. Its started to spread to the area in between my scrotum and anus. I've had it for a while now and I've tried cortizone creams and Lotrimine AF. Does anyone know I can get rid of this without going to see a doctor? Thanks anyhting will help!

Have you tried different soap? How about a different type of underwear? Do you wash your shorts in hot water, with bleach?

You might be experiencing an allergy to soap and/or not enough air circulation in the area.

Why don't you want to see a doctor?

Yeah like I think it started when I started to use new soap but then it got better but I still had like skin discoloration on my thigh it just didn't itch. I got a new soap and it started again but its for sensitive skin so I thought that that would help.

And I don't really want to see a doctor if I can just cure it myself you know what I mean? And I change my underwear every morning after I shower should I change them every night as well?

Try buying natural soap on-line. The ones made with shea butter are rich and soothing. There is also oatmeal soap which may help with itching.

Have you tried going without underwear at night? If I have an itchy lower half, that always helps. I'm not a guy though and have never known one who slept without undies.

Your laundry detergent or dryer sheets may be the culprit too.
