    Low water well pressure
Hi, my name is steve and I am having a heck of a time trying to figure out my submersible well system. When I moved in I had great water pressure, this was about a year ago. Little by little I 've been loseing water pressure and now All I get is about 30psi. I have replaced the pressure regulator and still no dice. I also think the pump is running 24/7 because the points are always connected. Can somebody help me?

Your pump's running constantly? Get a pump man in there to check it out pronto before you burn the motor up. You could have a faulty check/foot valve that's not allowing the pump to pump to pressure. It could be stuck contacts in the control box. I don't know, but ot has to be looked after and right now! Good luck, Tom

You say you think the pump is running. You need to find out. Take the grey cover off the switch and look at the points. If they are closed, then it is likely your pump is running. As SB pointed out, that is bad. You don't want your pump running 24/7. It is probably is running since it is not pumping up to cut off pressure, so the question becomes: Why not? Check those points and get back with that.
