This has bothered me for a long time.
A robot movie not anime from the 70s or 80s set in Japan. A large robot that I seem to remember had a build like C3P0. A scene that sticks in my head is the robot was defending the family from baddies when it was pushed into a koi pond, all seems lost until the head levitates out of the pond.
The name I remember I used to call the robot was TM.
Please Help.
