Hi, I will be 18 next month.

I was really busy with college and work and errands that I missed three pills of (Levlen). Who doesn't have bumps in the road right? However My boyfriend and I had sex after that, (thats when I realized I had missed the pills). Now we have talked about what would happen if I got pregnant. We decided we would take care of the baby. I am really freaking out because (9/21) we had sex and the next morning I started spotting, at first it was light pink, and now its like brown... but light. Now I am supposed to have my period about the 2nd of October.. I took the pregnancy test the same night we had sex and it was negative (I took it because I had been feeling a little quezy)

And I have all the symptoms except for the breast tenderness and the darkening of the nipples..

I don't know if I am just getting sick or no...

The night that you had sex would be way too early to be reliable. Anytime I miss pills my cycle tends to get a little thrown off. Read the directions on your pill information pamphlet (or if you already through it away you can probably get it online) on what to do if you miss pills (usually after three missed pills I think you throw it away). Don't worry about the symptoms for now. Pregnancy symptoms can too easily be confused with pms. Your period may come a little later or earlier because you missed the pills but if you haven't gotten it a few days after you expect it, I would take another pregnancy test.

For the future, what I do to help me remember is, I've set an alarm on my phone. And I always have my phone near by. So if I forget my phone reminds me.

Thank you, I just have never missed ANY pills before so I am just curious as to what it might be. There are also a lot of viruses going around. So maybe that's what it is.

And yeah after the third missed pill it says throw it away. But I just continued since my period is so close.

I know it's easier said than done, but don't stress for now. I've missed plenty of pills before. Just make sure you have a backup method and don't freak out if your cycle is a little off. Your chances of getting pregnant will be a little higher, so still take a pregnancy test if your period doesn't come within a few days of when it's expected. But no sense in worrying just yet.
And yes, there seems to be plenty of sickness going around, especially in school.
