I defaulted on a loan in 1996. I received a summons in August and responded to the general allegations but was told I have to respond to the request for admissions as well. This was an auto loan but the request for admissions is asking questions about a credit card how do I answer this? I don't know if I should being that it is asking questions about a credit crad instead of the auto loan.

Maybe at one time you made a payment with your credit card on this auto loan, have you a default on a credit card as well. I would ask them to clarify.
