I am an US citizen I just recently married my husband who is from Laos but came to america when he was 4 years old he currently has held a green card and stated that he has held permanent residence. We are attempting to travel to mexico for our honeymoon. What would be the process or the next step in order for us to make this happen? Thanks!

If he isn't a US citizen then he'll need to get a passport from Laos.

If he doesn't have a passport, contact the embassy of the Laos PDR here: Untitled Document

Green card holders don't need visa to Mexico, he/she will have to show green card to the officer at port of entry when return.

Just a reminder, he should have the new machine readable "green card" with a photo, etc. to make it easier for re-entry. Also, make sure he hasn't had any arrests, charges or convictions since PR issuance or he may have problems on re-entry.
