Thanks for the color code, thet helps some... but... only I only have TWO "loose" wires inside the unit. One Red... One yellow... any idea where the others go?

There could be many red or yellow wires in your unit. Some for the thermostat and some for the power. I dare not take a guess since serious damage could result.
