I note you didn't include tort reform or opening up insurance to interstate competition.

Agreed. Tort Reform should be included.

This is the BEST poll I could come up with given the limited polling resources available. There are many more than 10 options available, for sure. But I tried to give one side 5 things they say will pass, and the other side 5 things they say will pass.

I only see 2 things that I could sign off on 4and 6 .

I didn't vote for a ban on denying coverage due to pre-existing conditions, because the government is going to be doing that even if they don't allow INSURANCE companies to do it.

Ditto for dropping a policy holder because he gets sick. The government is going to do that even if they ban insurance companies from doing it.

I also didn't vote for co-ops, because I don't think they'll pass.

Pretty much everything else, I voted for, because the government WILL do those things if health care passes.

Excon, you didn't include "tax increases" in your list. That'll be part of health care "reform" too. So will increased budget deficits and higher costs of health care. You left those out too.

I can design another poll based upon wants. But, this poll isn't about that... If you only see 2 things you think will pass, tom, then vote for 'em. IF you want to design a poll that asks for WANTS, I'd vote. But, I already KNOW what you guys want, and don't need a poll to tell me.

I'm sure I'll get criticized for not designing a FAIR poll, as the Wolverine already did... But, if you look, before you let your knee whack you in the eye, you'll see that I designed a pretty damn fair poll, given what I was after. I WAS clear in what I was after, wasn't I??
