Need title of a fantasy movie in the 80s-90s
I remember a live-action movie. I remember specifically that this boy and girl get stuck traveling with pirates because they know how to find the treasure they are looking for. The girl is turned back into a mermaid and needs to be brought to the water... and I also remember a giant statue on the island coming alive and attacking the pirates. Any ideas?
Also, I vaguely remember an animated film that was around the same time that I used to watch as a kid also. But I was very young; under ten years old so it's sort of brief. I remember these group of people (I know for sure one of the characters was a young girl) and they are exploring inside this ancient pyramid or something? I think they were looking for treasure too or some kind of artifact. Please help!
