I finished my basement a year ago and have a sump pump, I have had to replaceone and the new one makes the basement smell like sewage every time it rains. What do I do to fix the sewage smell every time it rains? Is it my sump pump?

Where does your sump pump discharge into? Your sewer or does it terminate outside somewhere? Tom
