Should the gaterbit spin after installation? I've install two and they both spin. I am changing out a hose bib and didn't want to solder. I put on the gaterbite connecter and it spins... any suggestions?

It is OK for a gatorbite fitting to spin after installation, but I wouldn't go spinning it too many times... ;)

If you installed it so the copper pipe seated into the fitting to the correct depth and it did not leak when you turned the water on then you are all set!
