This past year I was married. But soon after my marriage, my life began to change. My car had been repossessed, old bills that I have neglected to pay had come back to haunt me, and my job had dropped my hours which led me to getting laid off. I have lied to my wife about every thing listed but I don't know why I lied. Everyone knows all lies come back to haunt you and all of them did. Now my wife demands a divorce and isn't willing to negotiate. My lies have turned my life into hell. What should I do?

STOP LYING!! For your future. You can't tell the truth after lying for so long and expect all the lies to be erased. You made a mistake ( a few) and now it's time to pay for them. How does she know when you are telling the truth now?
