2006 Honda CRV - Randomly Won't Start
I have a 2006 Honda CR-V with about 39k miles. Randomly, when you turn the key to start the engine, nothing happens. There is no clicking, grinding, or other indications that it is trying to start the engine. When you turn the key, it also cuts out the electrical system (i.e. the radio, dash lights, etc. all go out.
Typically, after three or four attempts, it will start normally and most of the time, it will start normally on the first attempt.
I just replaced the battery so I do not believe this is a battery issue. Additionally, I have tried shifting through the gears and back to park, which does not seem to have any affect. I have also tried wiggling the key and turning the key to off and back to on a few times, which does not seem to have any affect.
Any ideas? All thoughts are appreciated!
