I'm installing a new insinkerator garbage disposal. The instructions state to connect the black and white wires from the disposal to the corresponding black/white wires on the main electrical cable. (I've already connected the ground wire) The problem is the main cable isn't color-coded black or white... how do I know which wires of the main cable to attach to the black/white wires on the garbage disposal? Does it matter? Please help! Thanks in advance.
