    Confused about due date
Hi... I am new on here. I have a few questions, but Ill tell you my story first. I am 21 yrs old and have a 4 yr old. I was told back in jan. that I have endmetriosis after not having a period for a yr, and cyst all the time since Oct 07.They told me not to plan on having anymore kids because my ovaries we so bad. They would swell up to the point were I couldn't move. I had an appointment to talk about getting a hysterectomy, well I had had not had a period since June 23. So I decided to take a test , just in case. Well it was positive. We are super excited. Well I have been told that I am 13 weeks. Well I had to go to the ER this morning for really bad pelvic pains and some spotting, and they said I have cyst again. But they also said I am only 6 weeks and 6 days pregnant. They said the baby was doing great and the heart beat was great. But there is no way I'm only 6 weeks. My last period started June 23 ended June 31st. Two weeks later I spotted for 2 days and nothing since. But I know I am more then that because my husband and I didn't have sex in August ,because it hurts me to bad. We may have had it a few times in July ,but not very much.So we are both very confused. The least I could be is 9 almost 10 weeks. Could they be off by that far? Has this ever happened to anyone? I am just so confused. I have a doctor visit on the 1st but I wanted to ask some people before then. Sorry this is so long. If anyone has any answer please feel free to reply.

Well they are not always accurate with due date, it is just an estimate, but I have never heard of them being off by so much. Its usually by a week or so.

Due date estimates this early can be off - but I'd have a hard time thinking they were off by 3 weeks or more because the fetus looks very different from 6 - 9 weeks development.

If you're periods are not consistent that could be why your dates are off. Some women have periods even when they are pregnant as well. Is there a chance you're forgetting a time your husband and yourself were together? Another possibility: Sperm can live up to 5 days before your egg could be fertilized.

I don't know.. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what they say at my appointment. I got to thinking ,maybe he read it wrong. But I don't know...
