    Kitchen faucet starts and stops
When I turn my kitchen faucet (Price Pfister) on, the water flows and then stops for a few seconds and then turns on again. It will stay flowing at this point. What could possibly be going on?

Pump or city water? Just this faucet or are other faucets affected? Is this a single handled faucet? Both hot and cold affected? Let me know, Tom

Does the fuacet have a sprayer. If so, try running the sprayer and let us know how it acts. Sounds like a problem with the spray diverter. Does it make a banging sound when water is cutting off and on? Lee.

No, it doesn't make a banging sound... I believe it has something to do with the diverter as well, but our diverter looks totally different that others I have seen. It looks copper, not like the plastic ones I've seen. I will take a picture tomorrow if I can figure out how to do that.
