Call the police and have him arrested when he leaves the office.
He is not giving out any medical info, in fact the doctor should have a obligation to turn them in
This would definitely not be a HIPAA violation. The doctor may call the police and give them the home address to have him picked up.
Unfortunately both of the above answers are incorrect. It is still doctor/patient privilege, which inspired HIPAA. Whatever the doctor knows about the patient is private info.
