I have 2 small children and they spilled gas on my garage floor my wife wiped up the mess but can't get rid of smell any sugestions??

It will eventually go away. I hope wife properly disposed of what she use to clean up with.

Leave garage door open when you can, petrol vapor can ignite. Make sure there are no naked flames or possibility of sparks. The smell will go quicker with the garage door open.
