    Microwave adaptation
Can a prestige gs25 free standing microwave be converted to go in a kitchen cabinet.
I have recently had a kitchen fire, and have to replace all my equpment.
I bought the prestige as a temporary measure, until I can get my kitchen refitted.
I realize now, that ,as its brand new it will be a shame if I can't fit it in the new units.

    Appreciate any advice.
    Thank you annie 1941

A counter top microwave can be put in a cabinet opening. You should allow enough space on both sides and the top for air flow. There is some heat that must dissipate. Two inches on either side and the top should be sufficient. Even the smallest counter top microwaves are usually deeper that the standard 12 deep wall cabinet.
