My potty trained 3yrs old is afraid to let go again
    Hi,

My 3 year old daughter is almost on the mastery of potty training(poop and pee).. She always get's in to the bathroom to poop and pee by herself but after experiencing a series of constipation last May, she's started to get scared of moving her bowel, she is trying to hold it.. instead of letting it go.. she will try her best to hold it,until the point that she had a skin break on her butt. We gave her stool softener as prescribed by our pediatrician and giving liquid suppository but no improvement. Her stool is soft but the problem is she will hold it. I'm really concern about this...

Put a lot of bran in her diet and she will have no choice.
Don't show any tension about her going or not,she could very easily use it as leverage.
Make no big deal of it and add some prune juice to her juice.
    She will go.
If you make a issue of it ,it will become an issue.
