    There are a couple of formulas for motion, each finding its use in different cases. The symbols I'll make use of are here:

    s = displacement
    u = initial velocity
    v = final velocity
    t = time
    a = acceleration

    That's all. Now, I assume if angles are included, you know how to break a velocity into vertical and horizontal components.
