    Flooding in basement
Hi I have 2 drain hole one is in the basement and the other one is right outside of the garge door. When I flush the basement toilet or let water out of the upstair tub it come back up in the basement out from the drain whole. But when I run the dish washer I does not do anything, I had a plumber come out and snake the pipes just this Monday on the 14 of sept. why does it keep doing this. And how do you know if you have clay piping?

Because you have a blockage in the drain line between the toilet and the main drain. Apparently the kitchen drain is ahead of the blockage or goes to the main drain through a different pipe. Snaking the line should have cleared the blockage. Where did the plumber snake.

He snaked the pipe that comes out of the concret into the toilet we had to buy a monkey wrench to open the cap.
