    What is my vaginal bump/lump?
I have this lumb/bump whatever you would like to call it, on my vagina, it is not on the pubic part but not inside of the vagina, its almost in the center like when I wipe I go over it and its pretty big, not like huge and sticking out, but it is probably as big as the top of your thumb. And its under the skin, it doesn't itch but it hurts when I touch it or cross my legs and my jeans push against it, I am sexually active, but I haven't been for about 2 months and it just came about, I don't know what it is and I would like to know I am pretty scare. Please help me!

I'm sorry, but I don't know what you mean by 'vagina' as that is actually inside your body. Do you mean the labia, and what do you mean by 'not the pubic part'?

If it is the labia, where is it? Inner or outer labia? Or, is it near the clitoris?

Painful lumps in this area are sometimes caused by ingrown pubic hairs.

If you are in any doubt about anything to do with your genital area - you should ALWAYS see a doctor.

It could be herpies, if you have had sex before you may have caught the virus but haven't had any symptoms of it until now. You should go to the doctor while the lump is still there so the can take a sample.

    Hi, iluvyou0!

I agree with Gemini54 here. It would be best for you to go to a doctor. I would like to add that, the best that we can do here is guess at what might be wrong. Some of those guesses might be from very well educated people who might even be working in some kind of medical field. However, without someone qualified who can examinie you personally and visit with you in person, a proper diagnosis can't be achieved.

Best to be getting to a doctor who can examine you in person.

    Thanks!

You know what, it might just be a big clitoris.

Warning: If your offended by the human body scat:

Take a look at the thread here: Embarrassing question... is a large clitoris a normal symptom of PCOS???? - Page 10 - PCOS Message Board Ignore the reference to PCOS.

Actually, if I'm correct, you might notice that during sex it may become somewhat erect. Generally it will not like a lot of direct stimulation and it may even hurt until you are sexually aroused.

Thanks muddy. I added a little more info. I can't believe I got two agrees maybe in 30 seconds after I posted. I guess she missed the class where you had to sketch and label the various parts of the male and female anatomy. Yep, a high school class named "Health".
