    Hamster may be dying
I live in Maplewood,Mn... My robo dwarf hamster Lola is about 1.5 years old,she has no other hamsters in the cage with her. About a 1 or 2 weeks ago I noticed that on her lower stomach she has like a big bump there. And today I walked in my room and looked in the cage and she was like upside down having problems like twitching and stuff, so I flipped her back over and she was sort of fine. She wobbled and stuff. I'm very scared and I think she might die soon. What is the bump and is she feeling any pain and what can I do to help? :(:(

It might be just food. Hamsters keep food in their stomach without chewing on them first. That's what my hamster do. 1.5 years is a long time for hamster so it won't be long till it passes away so brace yourself.

Hamsters actually live for about 2-3 years when cared for properly.

I would be getting this little one to the vet, it could be something serious like a tumor and he sounds like she is in pain and general discomfort.

Remember, vet care is as important for "cheap" pets like hamsters as it is for more expensive ones like dogs.

Sadly hamsters are prone to tumors, time for a vet appointment.

    Yes, it's most likely painful.
