    About shaving pubic hair(men)
Ive searched and found different sites saying you should shave you pubic area, if I do this what about all the other areas like my , upper thighs, stomach, wouldn't it look weird to have those areas with hair and none around my penis, then if I do shave that as well, it won't really stop until completely hairless,

I think when a guy shaves down there it can be uncofortable against the vagina espessally when she shaves too. Pubic hair getting too long try triming it first. Plus it iches like hell when it grows back.

Shave as much as you are comfortible with. If you do it every two or three days there isn't the irritating stubble to deal with. And yeah, we both preffer it smooth.

I've found the itching starts around day 4 or 5 and lasts to about day 7-10. But the itching starts at the point of irritating stubble anyway. Just do it at the end of your shower every 2 days and its only takes an extra minute or two. Use shaving jell and a razor and its no trouble to maintain.

Only if your truly want to shave it all off then proceed in doing so. I personally, like men with hair because then it won't leave me guessing. Not to mention real women like real men. Pop culture and their depictions of "sexy men" have conditioned women to wanting men that look more like females, act more like females, etc. Pubic hair is natural. Unless your in a sexual relationship, there's no need. As long as its not a jungle down there, alls well.

Nobody would ever call me wishy-washy to see me.

And you don't have to look like you are smuggling small furry mammals in your underwear to be a "real man" or a "real woman"

And it grows back if you ever get tired of it anyway.

    I love a guy shaved!

My husband uses a beard trimmer so that it leaves a slight soft stubble and it's not itchy at all, for me or for him.

He has hairy legs (the hair is light colored not dark) and it does look a bit odd when he's naked and wet, but hey, who cares. I can see what I'm getting, and it looks good.

PS My husband is most definitely a male!

It is just a choice, there is no wrong answer, for some women, even having a lot of hair all over their bodies is a turn off, to some a turn on.

Some women think it is great for a man to be shaved down there, some want to do the shaving for the man ( got to have a lot of trust there guys)

Many men shave their underarms also for varoius reasons.

But yes real men can be shaved,

I shave my underarms, and the sides of my tummy to create a nice line of coarse hair between my navel and my pubic hair patch..

However I don't like shaving my pubic hair area at all, or the idea of it. Tried it once in teen years and never again since.

Somehow I associate attentive pubic shavers with hypersexuality :(

I have never seen or been with a shaved man... I don't know how I would feel about it. Until I saw it in the flesh.

Frommy limited exerience I think it would be a minority of men who shave. None of my girlfriends including me would think it was necessary that a man shaved completely (TRIM yes), more like a novelty if they did.
I know from my experience as a girl it can get really itchy down there and that sometimes you can get a really bad rash from shaving and you wish you never did it!

Electric trimmers are the way to go I would say, rather than a razor. You get quite a close shave without the rash. And be careful! (Mens bits have quite a lot of corners and contours. Make sure skin is held taut and straight when doing so)

Its not hard to do, or maintain... guy can use what works on their face as a guide. At least in my case my face is more sensitive to being shaved than the crotch area is. Anytime I have ever gotten a rash its because I took a shortcut and didn't use common sense. If you do it every two or three days its not itchy at all. If you do it once a week then yeah... it WILL itch.

From what I gather... the numbers who do shave with the urging of their female partners is growing.

Actually an electric razor is worse from my personal experience. Unless it's a wet type that you can use with shaving jell. With an electric razor you are effectively doing it dry. And doing it that way from my experience WILL give you a rash.

Take a shower first... then before you dry off, use a good shaving jell. I like the Gillett Fusion shaving gell. I HATE the foamy shaving creams.

Rinse well and you have no irritation. Just don't pass a razor over bare skin. Make excessive passes then you won't have issues.

Use a trimmer to get as short as possible. Pass left then right then up at angles, then a final pass of upward, smearing the gell around before the next pass. Its baby smooth for about a day and day two stubble isn't long enough to be irritating... then the third day isn't too soon for upkeep.

Guys can find it easier to do the bits than for a woman to do them. Like doing the neck.. trick is to pull the skin tight, then shave it and then reposition and to more. Only awkward the first couple times.

Women really take a liking to it, every one I ever dated anyway. Its may be like something new that seems strange at first... but when that wears off, you relly start to like it fior all its advantages. After all... who likes to lick a carpet... and trust me feeling a woman's tongue darting all over down there will drive a guy wild. And you aren't going to feel that with a fur pelt in polace.
