Hi guys! I was watching Madagascar the movie the other day.I got fascinated with how these kind of animated movies are made.Now,I was wondering,is there a software where you can design the characters and simply animate them without having to make many drawings and frames to creat a scene? If there is,kindly give me the name and how to get it.

There was a great documentary on that on Discovery I think it was. Anyway, the artists started with drawings, the old fashioned way for the movies. It slowly got complicated after that. You could tell that they had a lot of education in their field and experience. As for there being any software, I'm not aware of any but there is new software being marketed it seems like every day! You could check Movie Animation in Google and work from there. Good luck
