    Stretch marks
Can you suggest what I can try to get rid of my stretch marks? I’ve tried cocoa butter a month after I gave birth with no luck. A friend of mine told me I should’ve applied it on my tummy when I was still pregnant. Help?

Actually mederma which used to be a prescription only cream is available on shelves its popular use is for fading scars and such but its doctor recommended for fading stretch marks. It's sold at Target, Walgreens, and Walmart. Good luck! :)

Cocoa butter should work if you apply it during the pregnancy. This will help make the skin more elastic and will avoid tearing of the skin. This is the actual stretch mark. You can ask a dermatologist about renova. This is effective for stretch marks, brown spots and wrinkles. Very much available in any local or online pharmacy out there. Hope this helps!

I heard of Mederma being good for stretch marks, cocoa is good too. For me, I have used the organic shea butter for the body which has helped with my scars, they were disappearing but I now haven't used it in awhile. It's also known that they are good for stretch marks so I will have to try it again as I have them on the inner area of my arms.
