    The Mini Pill
I've been taking the mini pill now for just over two weeks. On the 7th day I took my pill three hours late, but on that evening me and my boyfriend had 'dry sex', and I'm scared I might be pregnant. I had my pajama bottoms and underwear on, and he had his underwear on too. Were not sure whether he did precum. I have never had sexual intercourse before. I have continued to take the mini pill, but now I'm on my 16th day, and I am experiencing a thick brown discharge. Is this just the pills way of getting used to my body? Or is there need to worry?
    Please help!

Got to give me time to answer. I am not on 24/7!!

Yes, this could be your body getting used to the pill. But you do understand that the pill is not 100% effective, right? Just ask my 2 sons. I took mine religiously every day and I still got pregnant.

It is especially not effective if you do not take it at the same time every day. You cannot miss an hour, not even a minute. This is VERY important.

Just know that if you are ready to have sex, you are ready to take care of a baby, for the rest of your life. Nothing is 100% except hysterectomy or abstinence.
