Hey I'm 16 me and my boyfriend have been trying for a baby 4 8months now and no luck.. its worrying me is there something wrong? I was due on my period the 8th ov September its now the 16th. I have noticed brown discarge the past 2days only a little bit its only when I wipe myself after toilet.. any answers please thank you x

Well, I wish you luck. Will your job pay for maternity leave? How about your boyfriend, does he have enough to support you and the baby while you're on maternity leave, you know that UI only pays a percentage of your income during this time.

I would hate to see you lose the house you worked so hard to buy just because you're on mat leave.

Also, do you have the money put away for the delivery costs? If you're in the states it can cost, on average, $12,000 to deliver a child, that's if the child is healthy, which, well, at 16, chances are pretty high that something will go wrong. You should save at least $50,000 before the due date, just in case.

What about health care? Can you afford health care for you baby? Regular check ups, shots, illness, it can add up. What am I talking about, of course you can afford it, after all, you're smart enough, mature enough to have thought all of this through, right?

Having said that, sometimes it takes a while to get pregnant, but there's always fertility treatments if it turns out that there's a problem. They're expensive, but with the two of you working, putting away money, I'm sure you can afford it, after all, you want a baby really badly.
