We have purchased 4 Hampton Bay Babiberre fans. The box says that the fans are light kit adaptable and the kits are special order only. Home Depot has no information. Someone from customer service at a number provided by Hampton Bay said that the fans use a universal light kit. NO Way... The base of the fan that a light kit attaches to is roughly 3 1/2 inch. The universal light kits have approximately 4 1/2 base that attaches to the fan. Does anyone have a solution. If we order the kits and they do not work, Home Depot said they would charge us a 15% restocking fee.

I looked on the web page. A universal light kit will fit on there however it won't look right, you can order a matching light kit through Home Depot special order. Ask the people in the Electrical department.
