    Vegetarian making Thanksgiving Dinner.
Hi everyone. I'm in a little bit of a pickle. Somehow I ended up being the host of this years Thanksgiving Dinner and it's a party of 10 (incl myself and my husband).

Now I know how to cook meat, I was taught while growing up in Germany by my Oma, but I have never had to make a Thanksgiving Dinner before, yet alone cook a whole Turkey, haha.

My question to everyone is, what should the menu be like? What do people normally make for thanksgiving dinner, and can anyone suggest any recipes. I love cooking, so the level of experience required is not an issue. I'm just utherly lost.

    Please help!

Thank you. It's just that I have been on Google for the past week looking at all these recipes. And I don't have the lsightest idea about what is good, or what ir normally made. Since there is just too much! And I don't want to dissapoint my guests with food that is too terrible to eat.

Is a potluck dinner an option? That's what my family typically does. The host usually makes the turkey and stuffing, mash potatoes and cranberry sauce. And then my grandma and cousins split up veggie dishes (our favorites are green beans, sweet potatoes made with pineapples, pecans, brown sugar, and cranberries. Last year my cousin made this amazing creamed peas dish with bits of ham and I think onion in it.) we always assign desserts to one person but it never fails, we always end up with at least one from each household, usually two. Haha same with drinks.
