I was wanting to know if it was possible to get custody of my niece, or would I be wasting my time and money in the courts?

Who has custody now? Why do they not deserve it? What is your relationship with your niece (do you babysit a lot, etc). Is the custodian opposed to you getting custody? Both of the parents?
