Unfortunately I don't know a lot about Alzheimers...

I did however find this great site that lists activities you should be doing with your dog as well as all the stages and symptoms to expect

    Doggy Alzheimer's Disease - Dogs

Pet meds will only help the situation a bit, it is far from a cure. She will still exhibit the symptoms of Alzheimers.

Are you prepared to care for a special needs dog?

OMG! I looked at the link and every single point on there is Indy!

I was just telling hubby that I don't know what I'm going to do once I go back to work because Indy keeps me up most of the night barking, wandering around, panting. He's also been using the indoors as a potty, not cool!

    He hit every point.

    Now I'm really sad. :(

Bring it to the vet, and let them put it to sleep.

It's what I'll do if I develop it.
