    Hi, 4cheese3!

    How old are you, please?

If you're in the early stages of puberty, what you're experiencing wouldn't be all that uncommon and is normal, that is, to have them frequently. However, what are some of the things that you're doing that are the most likely things to cause the erections, please?

For instance, sitting in a classroom and thinking about a girl or girls that you like; having your pet lie down on your lap; lying on your stomach in bed, being close physically to someone to whom you're attracted, etc.

    Thanks!

The best thing you can do for school is wear loose pants and boxers

    Hi again, 4cheese3!

Wearing long t-shirts can also help. Also, have you spoken with a doctor about the problem that you're having?

    Thanks!

    Hi again, 4cheese3!

So, what types of clothing are you allowed to wear to school, please?

    Thanks!

When you find yourself in this position, think of something awful.Something that really turns you off.
Or do a calculus problem in your head.
    Recite the alphabet backwards.
Use your books to hide it during school.
You could try wearing two pairs of boxers.
    It is not uncommon.

    Alty

    This is totally normal.

You're 15, you body is growing, you penis has a mind of it's own and won't listen to you.

Heck, at 15 a breeze could cause an erection.

Don't worry too much about it.

Now, to avoid embarrassment, do what Artlady suggested, think of something that's a complete turn off. Kicked puppies, math homework, Bea Arthur. ;)

Don't worry, this too shall pass.

    Hi, artlady!

Yes, it's not uncommon, and I was going to get into the "thoughts" thing. But, thank you for pointing it out!

As a former school music, choir and band teacher for a number of different grades, I always was careful for mixed choruses as to when to ask everyone to stand up!

    Thanks!

I asked my son what he did during these awkward times and he said he sort of took care of business before school,if you get my drift.

Now, that was good, artlady! :D

But, then again, not all guys have a choice at that age, even if they go to school "prepared".

    I remember how I was...

    Thanks!

When you are that age you need to maybe take care of things more than once.
My son also said he went to the boys room and either put cold water on hand to stop it or went below and took things in hand again.
Just repeating what worked for him.

I just got over this problem!

I handled my problem in the same way artlady's son did, and it worked okay for me. Actually, in the morning, never at school.

A popular place is the shower. It's in the morning, you get privacy, and there are a couple other pros that I don't want to mention ;).

Pull it up and put it in your waist band until it goes down

Yes, this is a very common issue that almost all teen males deal with.

    To Altenweg:

No, it doesn't hurt, unless your pants are real tight or something. Its just uncomfortable and you need to make sure its not noticeable, but that's better than walking around with it full on, right?
