Someone please help... my Female pitbull just came out of a fals pregnancy about 2 months ago. Since then she will not gain weight, her coat is dull and coarse. I supplement her with plenty of raw foods, she gets a half can wet food with 2 cups of dry mixed, and certain scraps. She has already been tested negative for worms... what else can I do?

Has she had a complete checkup? What does your Vet say?

The info on how much you feed her is rather meaningless without knowing her size and weight - my GSD is 134 pounds and that's a snack for her!

What kind of dog food are you feeding her? Some are quality; others are like a steady diet of Burger King (no slam against Burger King).

First, you should get her spayed. When setting up for that, the vet should do a complete exam.

Start there.

Not gaining weight and having a dull coat can simply be from poor nutrition.
What food are you feeding her?
Some dogs need a higher quality food with added oils for their coat.

I'm with Sariss though, she needs to be spayed asap.
