Replacing Pull Chain on Hampton Bay Ceiling Fan
I have a Hampton Bay Ceiling Fan. It has two pull chains, one for the lighting, one for the fan. The pull chain for the fan was pulled off by force, so it would appear (most likely by my 9-yr old son). Everything is working fine, but the chain is off and I don't know how to reconnect it (the fan is now stuck in fast mode, there is no remote control on this model). I tried to loosen the protruding metal piece (with a small opening that guides the chain into lighting base), from which the chain was disconnected. I would like to know if that metal piece can be loosened, or if the repair is more complicated. Any reference to possible instructions or manuals would be helpful.

    Thank you.
