6 years ago I met a guy that blew me away. Genuine, warm, sparks flying etc. I loved everything about him. He told me he had a girlfriend (which was great), then he told me he really liked me (not so great), and then I never saw him again as it was too intense. For some reason I'm still crazy about him. As in I have distracted myself with many activities and am even in a 3 yr relationship with a man I will marry and have children with. At times when I think I have forgotten him for good (this could be 2 yrs like when my partner and I started dating) ill see someone who looks like him and all my feelings and sensations come back. My biggest fear is that ill bump into him once I have children and have the weakness to give in to his seduction, or even to trigger the obsession once again after all this work to get over him

You can focus on the things that made you fall in love with your current boyfriend,look forward to the plans your making and if its any help I think its common unless you meet and fall in love with your first partner it is common to have one from the past that crosses your mind on occasion
If your worries are I run into him after I have kids and can't resist his advances maybe you shouldn't have kids your missing the point of putting them first and not doing anything to jeapordise there futures

Ah, that sweet obsession,that one guy that seemed to hit all the right spots and just made you feel that buzz of being alive.. I remember it well.

The thing is,your not together,he didn't want to be with you,what you have is real,its love.. (I think,only you know that)... when we pick our partners for life what do most women want?

A man who makes us feel safe,secure,loved.. well for me anyway.

I too had that obsession,and drove myself crazy.. but in the end,I realised sometimes you come across people who have that effect on you,but it does not last,when the dust settles,we are left breathless and heartbroken,and they are just gone.

Think about your future with your boyfriend,if you feel you can't love him the way you should,leave him,let him find someone who will love...
