Just got a free 160 after a little cleaning of the carb, she purrs. But I can't seem to get the mower to work, any help with step by step procedures

First guess would be the PTO switch. Check for voltage going in and coming out. Blue or purple wires are the ones. If it does, check wires at the clutch for voltage (same color.)
