I currently live in Central California and have lived here all my life, I've been trying to find a house and in California it's near impossible with all the short-sales, REO's, and 45 bids on a single house.

So I did some research and found mansions in my price range in the Dallas/Fort Worth TX area, it looks so lovley and so different then California and I'm really starting to think seriously about moving to TX.

Has anyone been in this kind of situation before? Is it easy to find jobs (I have a lot of experience), how's the Crime rate? how's the weather? The people? The night life?

I just have so many questions! So if anyone could help me out, it would be greatly appriceated, thank you!
