Best way to insulate a crawl space? I understand to install the insulate with the paper side against the floor above, correct? Does there need to be anything else to install?

Install insulation with vapor barrier to living space.

U will have to install wood lathe across bottom of floor beams to keep insulation from falling out. Lathe should be about 2' to 3' apart.
